A Study of Comparative Survey on the Influence Affected to the Post-operative Early Ambulation f or the Patients Education before Operation

Abstract
The encouragement to have the postoperative early ambulation has been emphasized to deduct the various annexation symptoms such as the respiratory, circulation, and digestion organs, and to have patients¢¥ early cure and early recovery for the normal function of the physique. But without the consciousness of spontaneous participation of the patients, the early ambulation is difficult to perform, and it seems much easier and more effective for the patients to perform the early ambulation when they are to be taught of the education of necessity of the early ambulation before their receiving operation rather than post operation. So I have chosen 56 patients who have received the education of early ambulation before operation and 54 who have not, to compare and examine them after operation. As a result of it, it has been turned out that the patients who have received the education before operation have proved to have an outstanding result in general for the early ambulation and physical recovery rather than those who have not received. 1. The time passed until performing the postoperative change position has been deducted of 5.4 hours by the patients who have received the education. 2. Deep respiration and cough have been started by 7 hours earlier by patients who have received the education, and limbs exercise has also been done more actively and faster than those who have not received the education. 3. To sit on the bed after patients¢¥ operation has been done 7.2 hours earlier than those who have not received the education, to stand on the floor out of their beds has been done 24 hours earlier, and to go to the rest room and to walk on the floor have been done 3.8 days earlier by those who have received the education. 4. The use of anaesthetic and the times of use of catheterization and enema have been done less by the patients who have received the education, and the ratio of attack of annexation symptom after operation becomes less. As a result, the patients who have received the education are usually to get out of the hospital 2.2 days earlier than those who have not received the education. 5. The response of the patients on the postoperative early ambulation have been more positively cooperative by those who have received the education before operation.
